  • 1/2 cup red velvet cake mix Can substitute with chocolate cake mix and red food coloring if needed.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • to taste sprinkles Optional for decoration.

Preparation
  1. Pop the popcorn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and red velvet cake mix until well mixed.
  3. Add the freshly popped popcorn to the bowl and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler, then drizzle over the popcorn.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and mix well to combine.
  6. If desired, add sprinkles for decoration.
  7. Allow the popcorn to cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days. Use a popcorn machine for fresh popcorn. Feel free to mix in nuts, chocolate, or marshmallows for added texture.
