Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 wheel wheel of brie cheese Classic brie cheese.
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam You can also try fig or cranberry jam.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Store-bought for convenience.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash.
  • to taste red food coloring Optional for a spooky effect.
  • for garnish fresh raspberries Don't skip them for decoration.
  • as needed crackers or bread For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the wheel of brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Spread the raspberry jam over the top of the brie, and add a few drops of red food coloring if desired.
  5. Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing it completely, and brush the top with the egg wash.
Baking
  1. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh raspberries and serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

Allow the brie to sit for a minute before cutting for easier slicing. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
