Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet for frying.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet or directly into your hot skillet.
Cooking
- Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes in the oven, or fry until golden brown.
- If using marinara, simmer the meatballs in the sauce for an additional 10 minutes for more flavor.
- Serve and enjoy with pasta or in a sub.
Notes
For leftovers, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. When using frozen meatballs, thaw before cooking.
