Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the sweet potatoes.
  3. Cut a few slits in the tops of each sweet potato to allow steam to escape.
  4. Rub each sweet potato with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place them directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.
