Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve warm.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and keeps well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze it tightly wrapped.
