Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties and place them in a baking dish.
- In a separate pan, sauté the mushrooms until soft, then pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Pour the broth and mushrooms over the patties in the baking dish. If using, add green beans around the patties.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot and relish your hearty meal!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of soy sauce to the beef mix. If you want a butterier taste, use more milk or even a little cream! Experiment with different veggies; carrots or corn can add sweetness. Not a fan of mushrooms? Just omit them, and you’ll still love this dish!
