Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup green beans (optional) You can use frozen green beans.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate pan, sauté the mushrooms until soft, then pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Pour the broth and mushrooms over the patties in the baking dish. If using, add green beans around the patties.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Serve hot and relish your hearty meal!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of soy sauce to the beef mix. If you want a butterier taste, use more milk or even a little cream! Experiment with different veggies; carrots or corn can add sweetness. Not a fan of mushrooms? Just omit them, and you’ll still love this dish!
