Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil on the prepared baking sheet. Spread them in a single layer to roast evenly.
Cooking
- Roast the cauliflower for about 20 to 25 minutes, flipping it halfway, until tender and slightly browned.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a small saucepan.
- Heat the sauce mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it simmers and thickens a bit, about 3 to 5 minutes. Then remove from heat.
- Once the cauliflower is roasted, transfer it to a large bowl and pour the warm honey garlic sauce over it. Toss gently until every piece is evenly coated and sticky.
Serving
- Serve immediately, garnished generously with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
For the best texture, enjoy fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen, although texture may soften.
