  • 1 cup Dill pickles (or any type of pickles you prefer)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for that extra crunch)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Cooking spray or oil for air frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the pickles to your desired thickness. Thinner slices get crispy faster!
  3. Set up a breading station: add flour to one bowl, beaten eggs to another, and breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each pickle slice first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat well.
  5. Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Spray lightly with cooking spray or oil to enhance crispiness.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  2. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve with ranch dressing, spicy mayo, or tzatziki. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for about 5 minutes.
